Local pledge center for Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon announced

The Ville Platte Rotary Club and Mark Layne of KVPI Radio Station will be hosting the local pledge center site for the upcoming Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon September 5, and September 6, which will be seen live from Lafayette, Lake Charles and Las Vegas, Nevada, on KLFY Tv-10. The department will be manning the phones for the duration of the 21-and-a-half hour spectacular, under the direction of Layne, who may be reached at 363-2124 in order to accept local telethon pledges and donations.

“We’re looking forward to this event, and we know the good people of Ville Platte will unite and help us in our fight against neuromuscular disease,” said Layne.
