In Judges 17:6, it says, “In those days, there was no king in Israel, but every man did that which was right in his own eyes.” If we stop and look around us for a minute, we will see we are in the same condition in this country today. We have outlawed prayer in school, taken the Ten Commandments from the courthouse walls and outlawed Bible study on campuses. We are legislating God out of the country. To be sure, we still have a remnant that cries out to God in repentance for revival of this nation. If we have ever needed revival in the history of this country, we need it today.

Recently, I heard a preacher state England will no longer be a Christian country in less than 10 years due to the apathy and complacency of its people. Is that where we are headed? We need to honestly and objectively sort this out for ourselves in our own minds. However, the Word of God says in 2 Corinthians 4:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

As a country, we need to turn to God and confess our sin and ask humbly for His blessings once again. We need to seek the face of God in these confusing and trying times.
