Mr. Williams, Miss Charlot plan ceremony

The engagement of Miss Christal Monique Charlot to Mr. Anthony Wayne Williams, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vinell Williams of Ville Platte, has been announced by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Malbreaux of Lake Charles.

The couple will exchange wedding vows Saturday, May 30, 2009, during a 4 p.m. ceremony at Christian Baptist Church in Lake Charles.

Miss Charlot is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew (Catherine) Malbreaux of Opelousas and the late Felix and Loretta Charlot.

A graduate of Southern University in Baton Rouge, she received a degree in nursing and is currently employed as a registered nurse with St. Patrick Hospital and Evangeline Home Health. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree at McNeese State University.

Mr. Williams is the grandson of Jessie Williams and Clara Williams of Ville Platte and Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo (Hazel) Freeman of Chataignier.

A graduate of Sowela Technical College in Lake Charles, he received an associate degree in process technology. He is currently employed as a plant process operator with Westlake Chemical.
