BUNKIE - Funeral services will be held for Celina Fontenot Himel, 95, of Ville Platte, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Bunkie at 10 a.m., Thursday, August 2. Burial will follow in the White’s Chapel Cemetery.
Ms. Himel died Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at her residence.
Survivors include three daughters, Yvonne H. Lutz and her husband, Clyde, and Myrtle H. Williams, all of Bunkie, and Faye H. Billeaudeau and her husband, Kearnis, of Ville Platte; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Himel Jr.; and one grandson, Gene Williams.
Pall bearers will be Robbie Lutz, Brian Lutz, Richard Williams, Derek Ferguson, Earl McCauley and Clyde Latour.
Rev. Scott Chemino will officiate.
