Ville Platte Police Department reports 21 arrests

The Ville Platte Police Department reported 21 arrests recently.

Arrested were the following:

•Eddie Stagg, 18, 617 Martin Luther King Drive, Ville Platte, was charged July 21, with theft of goods and flight from an officer. Stagg was released on a $2,500 bond.

•Warran Bias, 50, 816 Reed St., Ville Platte, was charged July 14, with simple battery. At press time, Bias remained incarcerated.

•Sharonda Jack, 25, 311 W. Oak St., Ville Platte, was charged July 22, with disturbing the peace and threatening a public official. Jack was released on a $2,200 bond.

•Donald Gallow, 17, Kingston Point Blvd., #24, was charged July 19, with theft. At press time, Gallow remained incarcerated.

•Johnathan Gallow, 27, 102 W. Pine St., Ville Platte, was charged July 19, with theft. At press time, Gallow remained incarcerated.

•Eric Rider, 31, 220 Prairiedale Ave., Ville Platte, was charged July 20, with criminal trespassing and no reflective gear. Rider was released on a $700 bond.

•Barbara Jack, 43, 1505 Division Road, Ville Platte, was charged July 22, with disturbing the peace. Jack was released on a $200 bond.

•Gregory Fontenot, 51, 1487 Gabriel Road, Ville Platte, was charged July 22, with driving left of center and possession of drug paraphernalia. Fontenot was released on a $2,700 bond.

•Travis Morgan, 21, 3197 U.S. Highway 167 North, Ville Platte, was charged July 12, with disturbing the peace by public intoxication. Morgan was released on a $200 bond.

•Joshua Veillon, 34, 163 John St., Ville Platte, was charged July 13, with no driver’s license and no proof of insurance. Veillon was released on a $1,000 bond.

•Jaonnie Arvie, 24, 706 Derouen St., Ville Platte, was charged July 13, with loud music and driving under suspension. Arvie was released on a $700 bond.

•Bonnie Leday, 53, 401 Laran St., Ville Platte, was charged July 14, with simple battery, resisting an officer (two counts), battery on an officer and disturbing the peace by intoxication. Leday was released on a $5,200 bond.

•Cain Silverand, 32, 219 Cook St., Morrow, was charged July 13, with loud music and driving under suspension. Silverand was released on a $700 bond.

•Eric Rider, 32, 220 Prairiedale Ave., Ville Platte, was charged with turn signal required, driving under suspension and open container. Rider was released on a $900 bond.

•Curt Fontenot, 40, 508 N. Soileau St., Ville Platte, was charged July 16, with theft. Fontenot was released on a $500 bond.

•Rentis Austin, 34, 115 E. Pine St., Ville Platte, was charged July 17, with driving under suspension and burnt tail light. Austin was released on a $700 bond.

•Herman Vidrine, 49, 1101 W. Lincoln Road, Ville Platte, was charged July 18, with interfering with the duties of an officer, resisting arrest and threatening an officer. Vidrine was released on a $1,750 bond.

•Ollie Reed, 45, 906 Beech St., Ville Platte, was charged July 17, with disturbing the peace and resisting an officer. Reed was released on a $500 bond.

•Fernella Charles, 50, 609 Latour St., Ville Platte, was charged July 19, with theft of utilities. Charles was released on a $500 bond.

•Malcolm Smith, 22, 301 E. Long St., Ville Platte, was charged July 8, with simple battery. No bond information was available.

•Mary P. Richard, 46, 2356 E. Main St., Ville Platte, was charged July 18, with head lights required (two counts), driving left of center and no turn signal. Richard was released on a $600 bond.
