Christ Our Redeemer Catholic Church in Niceville, Florida, provided the setting for a lovely 2 p.m. ceremony Saturday, May 19, 2012, uniting Miss Theresa Anne Smoter and Mr. Brandon Wayne Vidrine in holy matrimony, with Rev. Robert Johnson officiating.

The bride is the daughter of John and Margo Smoter of Beaumont, Texas. The groom is the son of Wayne and Sue Vidrine of Ville Platte.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was radiant in her slimline gown of intricate lace featuring a mandarin keyhole back and a fishtail train with scalloped edging.

The bride carried a colorful bouquet of roses.

Sarah Beth Smoter of Cypress, Texas, served as matron of honor for the special occasion. She wore a teal-colored, halter-style, tea-length gown of taffeta and carried a bouquet of colorful roses and lilies.

Bridesmaids were Rachel Boyette of Jasper, Texas, and Evelyn Vidrine of Houston, Texas. They were attired identically to the matron of honor.

Jake Tyler Vidrine of Houston, Texas, served as best man for the afternoon ceremony.

Groomsmen were Wayne Vidrine of Ville Platte and Nathan Smoter of Cypress, Texas.

Ushers were Zachary Seymour and Matt Hession.

A reception followed at the 790 on the Gulf Banquet Room. The hall featured a beautiful ocean view and was decorated with simple roses in vases and rose petals.

Following a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple has made their home in Carencro.
