Coalition partners thanked for their contributions

Dear Editor,

(Editor’s Note: This letter is addressed to Coalition Partners:)

I would really like to express my thanks to you all for the outstanding turnout of donations for the Christmas baskets. Our original plan was to make two Christmas baskets which was twice as many as last year, but we had so much stuff, we had to make four baskets and there was still stuff left over so we made a fifth small care-package. We gave laundry baskets full of household necessities to help the families get through the holidays. Each of the moms we gave the baskets to expressed astonishment and gratitude for our gift.

Please know what we do as a Coalition is very important to the people of our community. It is our mission to make life better for our citizens, and we are making a difference even if it is on a small scale.

Thank you all so much for all the great things you help us accomplish. It is my personal wish you all have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I look forward to getting 2011 started with a bang. We will try to take on some additional projects next year and I’m sure we are all up for the challenge.

Thanks and God Bless,

Coordinator thanks coalition members

Dear Editor,

(Editor’s Note: This letter also was addressed to Coalition Partners:)

I just wanted to take a moment and thank each and every one of you for all of your hard work that you do with your different organizations and our coalition. The Evangeline Parish Healthy Initiatives Coalition would not be such a great success without all of us working together for the better of the community. I feel very proud and blessed to be a part of such a caring group of people. You all have been a part in making Evangeline Parish a better community and making my job so much fun. Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! See you all next year………
