I would like for EPSB (Evangeline Parish School Board) to reconsider the way they handle noncompliance to the uniform policy.
My son attends Evangeline Central and was sent home for facial hair. It was hardly visible, and my son was sent home and missed a day of school. They could have given a warning by saying make sure your facial hair was shaved off cleanly by the next day.
There are other more serious violations in school. I understand I have to deal with these matters but please consider warnings in the future and thus a child will not miss a day of education.
