MAMOU - Funeral services will be held for Ola Chapman, 99, of Mamou, at the Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou at 1 p.m., Friday, June 22. Burial will follow in the Old St. Ann’s Cemetery.

A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Ms. Chapman died Wednesday, June 20, 2012.

Survivors include two sons, Terry Chapman of Sulphur and Michael “Chop” Chapman of Lake Charles; three grandchildren, Michael Chapman, Rebecca Lovejoy and Susan Nunez; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Moise Chapman; and her parents, Louis and Marise Aucoin.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed today, June 21, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The funeral home will reopen at 8 a.m, Friday morning until time of services. A rosary will be recited this evening at 6 p.m.

Deacon Chuck Ortego officiated.
