The engagement of Miss Hope Noelle Arnzen to Mr. Gary Bo Ortego, the son of Gary and Carlene Ortego of Ville Platte, has been announced by her parents, James and Christine Arnzen of Springfield, Missouri.

The couple will exchange wedding vows Saturday, July 21, 2012, during a 3 p.m. ceremony at the Clark Chapel at the James River Assembly of God in Ozark, Missouri.

Miss Arnzen, whose mother is the former Christine Raynor of Center Moriches, New York, is the granddaughter of Rev. James and Taketo Raynor of Center Moriches, New York, Hope Sneddon of Moriches, New York, and the late Alex Sneddon.

A graduate of Kickapoo High School in Springfield, Missouri, she received a bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations from Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri. She is currently employed as a high school relations and community outreach representative with Bryan College in Springfield, Missouri.

Mr. Ortego’s mother is the former Carlene Fontenot of Ville Platte. He is the grandson of the late Kage and Adeline Fontenot and the late Edgar Ortego and Annie Ortego.

A 2004 graduate of Westminster Christian Academy in Opelousas, he received a degree in business management from LSU in 2007 and a master of arts degree in theological studies from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield, Missouri, in 2012.
