The engagement of Miss Lindsay Lee Roberie to Mr. Kalan Paul Couvillion, the son of Paul Couvillion and Kathy Couvillion of Moreauville, has been announced by her parents, David Roberie and Susan Roberie of Mamou.

The couple will exchange wedding vows Saturday, April 21, 2012, during a 7 p.m. ceremony at St. Landry Catholic Church in Opelousas.

Miss Roberie, whose mother is the former Susan Ortego of Ville Platte, is the granddaughter of the late Gervis Roberie, Louella Roberie of Ville Platte, the late Linsdey Ortego and the late Isabelle Ortego.

A 2007 graduate of Westminster Christian Academy, she received a degree in business from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2011. She is currently employed with State Farm in Eunice.

Mr. Couvillion’s mother is the former Kathy L. Mayeux of Moreauville. He is the grandson of Anna Mayeux, the late Nelson Mayeux, the late Alonzo Couvillion and the late Elphie Couvillion.

A 2006 graduate of Avoyelles High School, he received a degree in civil engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2011. He is currently employed with the Louisiana DOTD in Lafayette.
