The engagement of Miss Holly Jenee’ Patin to Mr. Jason Paul Andrus, the son of Audie and Patricia Andrus of Bayou Chicot, has been announced by her parents, Patrick Patin of St. Landry and Carolyn Fontenot of Bayou Chicot.

The couple will exchange wedding vows Friday, May 11, 2012, during a 7 p.m. ceremony at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ville Platte.

Miss Patin is the granddaughter of Joyce Fontenot, the late Clavens Fontenot, the late Thelma Patin, Beryl Patin and the late Bobby Patin.

She received an associate degree in nursing from LSUA in 2010 and is currently employed as an RN with Opelousas General Hospital.

Mr. Andrus’ mother is the former Patricia Scott of Duncan, Oklahoma. He is the grandson of Amy Andrus, the late Charlie Andrus, Loretta Pilgrim and the late Olden Pilgrim.

He received an associate degree in industrial engineering technology from T.H. Harris and is currently employed as a communications technician with Elite Communications.
