MAMOU - A memorial service was held for Michelle Holford, 44, of Mamou, at the Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Mamou at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 4.

A loving wife, sister, daughter and friend, Ms. Holford died Saturday, June 30, 2012, at her residence.

Survivors include her husband, James “Jim” Holford of Mamou; her father, Carl Veillon Sr. and his wife, Annie, of Mamou; her mother, Rosella Veillon of Baltimore, Maryland; two step-sons, Jamie Holford and Sean Tyler Holford, both of Mamou; one step-daughter, Maranda Hanson of Mamou; three brothers, Carl John Veillon Jr. and his wife, Chou, of Baltimore, Maryland, Charles VanHorn and his wife, Patti, of Deanville, Pennsylvania, and Christopher VanHorn and his wife, Christina, of Catawissa, Pennsylvania; one sister, Anique Whitehurst of Deanville, Pennsylvania; two granddaughters, Abigale and Anelyse Hanson; and a host of other friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Brad Joseph Bellard.
