The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported eight bookings recently in the parish jail.

Arrested were the following:

•Andrew Thomas, 17, 213 David St., Ville Platte, was charged July 25, with possession of crack cocaine. Thomas was released from Jail on a $10,000 bond.

•Damon Lamar Bradley, 36, 2814 Old Highway 13, Reddell, was charged July 27, with domestic abuse battery, second degree kidnapping and theft. Bradley was being held in jail on a $50,000 bond.

•Irron Devonne Thomas, 37, 706 Young St., Ville Platte, was charged July 27, with misuse of a temporary plate, failure to change title and registration and driving under suspension. Thomas was released from jail on a $576.50 bond.

•Myran Keith Wilson, 31, 310 Soileau St., Ville Platte, was charged July 27, with failure to register as a sex offender. Wilson was released from jail on a $10,000 bond.

•Patrick Jordan Fontenot, 21, 1531 MLK Drive, Ville Platte, was charged July 28, with DWI (first offense), careless operation and open container. Fontenot was released from jail on a $1,358 bond.

•Benjamin Paul Fruge, 27, 1020 Veillon Rd., Ville Platte, was charged July 29, with DWI (second offence) and careless operation. Fruge was released from jail on a $1,966.50 bond.

•Joseph Ray Oliver, 50, 1116 Wade Road, Cheneyville, was charged July 30, with domestic abuse battery. Oliver was being held in jail on a $5,000 bond.

•John N. Reeves, 32, 10963 Highway 105, Melville, was charged July 30, with driving under suspended driver’s license and special ID required for sex offenders. Reeves was released from jail on a $10,000 bond.
