The Evangeline Parish Sheriff’s Office reported 10 bookings recently in the parish jail.

Arrested were the following:

•Jarred Stafford Matte, 27, 164 Winding Road, Ville Platte, was charged July 18, with domestic abuse battery. Matte was released on a $5,000 bond.

•Toby Lance Darbonne, 36, 1764 Veterans Memorial Highway, Eunice, was charged July 18, with disturbing the peace and domestic abuse battery. Darbonne was released on a $5,000 bond.

•Stacy Porche, 31, 1813 Buzz Lane, Mamou, with issuing worthless checks (four counts), speeding (68 in a 55 mph zone), no proof of insurance and expired driver’s license. Porche was released on a $926.50 bond.

•Melanie Starr Avery, 50, 716 Third St., Lot B, Mamou, was charged July 18, with forgery and theft. Avery was released on a $1,000 bond.

•Wanaski Randell Arvie, 23, 601 W. Jackson St., Apt. 5, Ville Platte, was charged July 18, with simple criminal damage to property and theft of a vehicle. At press time, Arvie remained incarcerated on a $10,000 bond.

•Michael Chad Dupre, 40, 1227 Wilson Campbell Drive, Ville Platte, was charged July 18, with aggravated assault, criminal trespassing (two counts), simple assault (two counts) and stalking. Dupre was released on a $20,000 bond.

•Victor Lee Fontenot, 58, 1000 Elm St., Mamou, was charged July 21, with DWI (second offense) and hit and run. Fontenot was released on a $2,500 bond.

•Brian Joseph Henry, 33, 578 Belaire Cove Road, Ville Platte, was charged July 23, with open container, possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Henry was released on a $10,000 bond.

•Warren Glenn Thibodeaux, 43, 1255 Green Oaks Loop, Eunice, was charged July 24, with failure to register as a sex offender. At press time, Thibodeaux remained incarcerated on a $10,000 bond.

•Robeeta M. Thomas, 25, 126 Demourelle St., Ville Platte, was charged July 24, with simple drunkenness and criminal damage to property over $500. At press time, no bond information was available.
