BAYOU CHICOT - Funeral services were held for April Dawn Holston, 37, of Pine Prairie, at St. Landry Baptist Church in St. Landry at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 14. Burial followed in the Vandenburg Cemetery in Bayou Chicot.

Ms. Holston died Thursday, July 12, 2012, in Ville Platte.

Survivors include one daughter, Chelsea Johnson of Pine Prairie; one son, Aaron Johnson of Pine Prairie; her father, Gary Holston and his wife, Charlie Marie, of St. Landry; her mother, Connie Finnegan Holston of St. Landry; two sisters, Misty Johnson and her husband, Jarrad, of Pine Prairie and Jenna Holston of St. Landry; one brother, Jonathan Holston of Abbeville; and her maternal grandmother, Clemence Klumpp of Ville Platte.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Claude and Juanita Holston; and her maternal grandfather, Evan Fontenot.

Revs. Joe Jenkins and Wayne Holston officiated.
